Pour son grand retour parmi l’élite du football sénégalais, l’ASC Cambérène espérait lancer sa saison 2025-2026 sur une note positive. Mais le club de la Banlieue nord a connu une entrée en matière délicate, s’inclinant lors de son premier match en Ligue 1.
Promue après son titre en Ligue 2 la saison dernière, l’équipe faisait face à une pression logique : confirmer une ascension remarquable entamée en 2022 en National 2, poursuivie en National 1, puis couronnée par un sacre historique en Ligue 2 en 2024-2025.
Mais pour ces grands débuts au plus haut niveau, Cambérène a peiné à imposer son jeu. Malgré quelques phases offensives encourageantes et une solidarité défensive par moments, l’expérience de l’adversaire et la rigueur du championnat ont fait la différence.
